Our Escapades Course is set in the Dauphine Ecrins Massif of France. The course aims to provide a variety of alpine adventure sports through the course of the week. Based from Ailfroide in the Ecrins Massif known for it's excellent weather the course encompasses rockclimbing, scrambling, glacier walking, alpine hut to hut tour, via ferrata and white water rafting. The rockclimbing is bolted and some of the most popular slabs and routes along with the via ferrata are to found only minutes walk from the roadside. After a taste of the rock during the first two days our efforts concentrate on the alpine glacier work and the use of these skills in a hut to hut tour taking in some smaller peaks along the Glacier Blanc. After three days in the mountains we return to our base to enjoy the sun, relax and prepare for our last day white water rafting down the River Durance.Courses run at Easter and in July/August/September for school or adult groups.

Chamonix Alpinisme
The Alpinisme course is aimed at individuals wishing to improve their alpine skills and work towards a realistic goal during their stay in Chamonix - the centre of alpine climbing. The initial stages of the week are spent honing alpine skills of rope work, crampons, crevasse rescue and spending some time at altitude. This will also entail completing a route of a day's climbing at the most. The latter half of the week will be centred on the goal agreed by the clients and their guides. This is usually based upon the Mont Blanc Massif and the draw of Mont Blanc or some of the superb high alpine routes available from the valley and huts in the mountains. Our usual Mont Blanc route is from the Gouter Hut and other routes include the 3 Monts. Courses July/August/September. Individual or group bookings.
